Job Title: EstimatorJob OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and support project planning. The candidate will play a key role in evaluating project requirements, calculating costs, and ensuring competitive and profitable bids.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project specifications, drawings, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and quotations.
Analyze material, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing.
Assist in preparing and submitting tenders and proposals.
Identify potential cost risks and suggest cost-saving solutions.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
Maintain records of estimates and update cost databases.
Compare estimated vs actual costs and improve accuracy.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
1–5+ years of experience in estimation / costing / quantity surveying.
Strong understanding of costing, budgeting, and tendering processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documents.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.
High attention to detail and accuracy.Preferred SkillsExperience in construction / infrastructure / manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, ERP, or estimation tools.
Knowledge of contract terms and procurement processes.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy of cost estimates
