The Inspector - Civil Engineering is responsible for monitoring site activities, ensuring work execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards. The role supports project delivery by maintaining quality, safety, and compliance throughout construction and handover phases.Key Responsibilities
  • Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements before site execution
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and approved plans
  • Maintain detailed daily records of manpower, materials, equipment, and inspection activities
  • Coordinate with contractors and project management teams to ensure progress and resource alignment
  • Prepare inspection reports, progress updates, and documentation for review by senior engineers
  • Implement site instructions from Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
  • Support site measurements, surveys, and alignment checks for infrastructure works
  • Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover processes ensuring all documentation is complete
  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations including Dubai Municipality, RTA, and DEWA
  • Promote adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across site operations
Ideal Profile
  • Strong experience in civil engineering inspection within roads or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to manage site inspections and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and compliance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy
  • Ability to work in fast-paced project environments
