  • Receive data/documents related to Cataloguing Section, segregate/classify as appropriate, allocate reference numbers where needed; store and retrieve such data/documents as and when required. Prepare data for computer entry that includes Coding & Cataloguing data, Inventory data, and Stock data, Materials Specifications, Engineering data and Manufacturer data.
  • Operate Materials Management System (MAXIMO, GSPIR, IDS) to input data, following system operating instructions and carry out correction / amendment / deletion and updating of information as instructed.
  • Retrieve on Supervisor’s request, a wide range of computer based information regularly or as/when required from the Materials Management System (MAXIMO, GSPIR, IDS).
  • Prepare catalogue in standard formats as and when required, compiling available data.
  • Maintain and, where applicable, update a variety of Project documents, files and reference materials, manufacturers’ catalogues/lists, SPIRs, PFSs, ICRs, alternative material sources evaluations documents, prepare various reports, correspondence, statements, tables and charts.
  • Distribute documents/data to assigned personnel, follows up on those requiring action by others and informs Supervisor of progress/status.
  • Scan documents and post it ECM live link.
  • Perform other similar or related duties, as assigned, such as answering queries, utilizing PC terminal for graphic/presentation etc.
  • Provide weekly / monthly statistical data related to cataloguing activities.
Desired Candidate ProfileMinimum Qualification
  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • 5 years of experience in documentation, updating data in computer system and administration duties related to material cataloguing within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Good understanding about materials and inventory management.
  • Planning and Organising, Scheduling and Co-ordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording.
