- Lead the development, updating, and control of the master project schedule for the rail project.
- Prepare detailed baseline and recovery programmes covering tunnel works, TBM excavation, shaft construction, diaphragm walls, station box, and related civil works.
- Monitor project progress and productivity against approved schedules and milestones.
- Identify critical path activities, delays, risks, and mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, commercial, and site teams to ensure accurate programme updates.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, delay analysis, and progress reports for management and client review.
- Track TBM-related activities including launch shaft readiness, boring progress, segment installation, breakthrough milestones, and interface coordination.
- Monitor diaphragm wall and deep excavation sequences, including enabling works, guide walls, panel excavation, reinforcement, concreting, and handover to downstream activities.
- Support claims, extension of time submissions, and time impact analysis where required.
- Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall project programme.
- Provide planning inputs for resource loading, manpower histograms, cash flow, and performance reporting.
- Participate in project meetings and present planning updates, risks, and recovery actions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 12-15 years of planning experience in major infrastructure or rail projects.
- Strong experience on tunnel projects using TBM is essential.
- Proven experience in diaphragm wall and deep excavation planning is required.
- Previous experience on metro, rail, or underground transportation projects is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing for tunnels, shafts, station boxes, and underground structures.
- Experience in progress measurement, delay analysis, and recovery programme development.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, reporting, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- GCC or UAE project experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with main contractors or large joint venture project environments.
- Familiarity with interface planning between civil, MEP, systems, and architectural packages.
- Experience supporting contractual claims and EOT submissions.
- Knowledge of rail project delivery from design through construction and commissioning.
