Job descriptionDiscover the opportunityWe are seeking a Commercial Lead to join the founding leadership team of a ground up AI native financial superapp. This is a rare opportunity to lead the creation of something genuinely new, backed by significant institutional capital in one of the world's most dynamic financial markets. Unlike a typical startup, this venture has the full weight of the region's largest financial institution behind it, ensuring no funding risk or runway anxiety.The technical foundations and product blueprint have already been designed by one of the worlds leading consultancies. This is an independent build on modern cloud native architecture with no legacy systems or tech debt. The regulatory foundation is already in place, meaning the team can focus entirely on growth and product rather than navigating approval from scratch.Discover the roleAs the Commercial Lead, you will be the CMO and Chief Growth Officer equivalent. You will own the growth engine of the superapp, from brand positioning and tone of voice to go to market strategy and customer acquisition. You will be the first person and then will look to grow a team.Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be one of five functional leads responsible for making the commercial engine work. Your focus will be on building a category defining product for a young, digitally native population with the ambition to scale across the MENA region and beyond.Discover the responsibilitiesDefine and drive the commercial strategy and business model for a large scale digital product launchShape the brand identity and storytelling from zero rather than inheriting an existing oneBuild and manage acquisition funnels, performance tracking, and growth loopsDevelop ecosystem partnerships, reward mechanics, and influencer modelsMonitor commercial performance and optimise unit economics to ensure sustainable growthCollaborate with the Product Lead to align the customer experience with brand goalsDiscover the requirements8 to 12+ years of experience in growth or commercial roles within fintech, neobanking, or AI driven financial servicesPrevious experience at the level of CMO, VP Growth, or VP Commercial at a recognised digital brandA proven track record of leading a major digital product launch rather than just managing steady state marketingStrong data driven mindset with the ability to own acquisition funnels and unit economicsExperience targeting Gen Z or younger demographics is a significant differentiatorHands on experience building or scaling a digital financial product where AI and data are centralRelocation is fully supported with a comprehensive package including transition support for you and your family.​
