The Postdoctoral Associate role is designed to support high-quality research in labor and education economics, with particular emphasis on structural models, labor market surveys, and the role of beliefs in labor markets across developed and developing economies. The position involves equal time dedicated to independent research and collaborative projects with senior faculty.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research in macroeconomics, labor economics, and or development economics
  • Collaborate with faculty on research projects in labor and education economics
  • Design and implement labor market and education-related surveys
  • Work with large-scale and existing datasets for empirical analysis
  • Apply structural economic models related to human capital development and labor markets
  • Prepare research outputs for submission to leading academic journals and conferences
  • Contribute to a collaborative research culture within the Division of Social Science
Candidate Requirements
  • PhD in Economics, completed or near completion, with a focus on macro, labor, or development economics
  • Strong background in both empirical and theoretical economics
  • Proficiency in quantitative methods and econometric analysis
  • Solid coding and data analysis skills
  • Experience with survey design and applied research methods
  • Strong academic writing and communication skills
