BIM CAD Technician Dry Utilities MV LV Power Distribution Infrastructure Projects - Parsons Corporation - Dubai UAE

• Prepare engineering drawings and BIM models for infrastructure dry utilities including MV and LV power distribution networks and pumping stations
• Work closely with BIM managers, CAD managers, design leads, and engineers to deliver project drawings according to required standards
• Develop layouts, arrangements, assemblies, and component details based on engineering sketches and design information
• Produce infrastructure drawings including plans, sections, details, and technical documentation
• Review drawings to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with project QA and QC standards
• Create parametric and non-parametric BIM families and maintain project content libraries
• Coordinate design drawings with other engineering disciplines to resolve design conflicts
• Support design teams by updating drawings based on engineering revisions and project requirements
• Manage engineering drawing files within common data environments including ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Ensure timely completion of drafting tasks in accordance with project delivery schedules

• Three-year diploma or engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related drafting discipline
• Minimum five years of CAD drafting experience in infrastructure and dry utilities projects within the UAE or Middle East region
• Experience working on MV and LV power distribution infrastructure and pumping station projects
• Familiarity with local electricity authority standards including DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, and Dubai Municipality requirements
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure design documentation and engineering drawing standards

• Infrastructure CAD drafting and BIM modeling
• MV and LV power distribution infrastructure drawings
• Dry utilities and pumping station engineering layouts
• AutoCAD and MicroStation drafting
• BIM coordination using Civil 3D and Navisworks
