You will play a key role in supporting the family office's investment strategy through high-quality commercial analysis, thematic research, and deep dives into emerging technologies.Client DetailsOur client is a Dubai‑based single-family office investing across public markets, private equity, venture capital, and thematic long‑horizon opportunities.DescriptionInvestment AnalysisSupport evaluation of global investment opportunities across private markets, venture capital, and public markets.Conduct commercial assessment, financial analysis, and investment diligence.Analyse business models, market positioning, monetisation pathways, and unit economics.Contribute to investment memos and materials for internal decision-making.Market & Thematic ResearchLead research on global themes including AI, climate tech, digital inclusion, health systems transformation, and frontier technologies.Produce clear, structured insights to inform long-term investment theses.Conduct market mapping, competitive landscape analysis, and emerging trend reviews.Technology & AI AssessmentEngage with deep‑tech driven business models, founders, and fund managers.Translate technical narratives into commercially relevant views, risks, and opportunities.Leverage advanced AI tools (LLMs, research automation tools, data platforms) to enhance workflow and research productivity.Portfolio MonitoringTrack portfolio performance, manager updates, capital calls, and reporting cycles.Prepare periodic reviews and support portfolio governance processes.Stakeholder CoordinationInteract with fund managers, external partners, research groups, and advisors.Support meeting preparation, documentation, and ongoing relationship management.ProfileA strong candidate will bring a mix of analytical rigour, technical fluency, curiosity, and commercial judgement. You enjoy deep research, understand how technology translates into real-world application, and thrive in a small, high-performance investment environment.Essential Experience2-3 years of experience in strategy consulting, private equity, venture capital, investment analysis, or commercial strategy.Open to 3-4 years, which may align with a Senior Analyst title.Strong exposure to technology‑driven sectors and comfort evaluating emerging tech.International exposure (study or work abroad) is highly valued.Technical & Professional SkillsHigh fluency in AI, software, digital platforms, data and emerging technologies.Strong research and analytical skills; ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights.Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.Strong commercial judgement and structured problem-solving capability.Ability to work independently with a long‑term, depth-first mindset.EducationBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical fields preferred.Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc, etc.) is an advantage.CFA is not required.Personal AttributesCurious, intellectually honest, and impact-oriented.Proactive, disciplined, and comfortable with ambiguity.Extroverted or confident communicator, comfortable in high-stakes conversations.Collaborative, humble, and aligned with family office confidentiality standards.Job Offer
