- Support evaluation of global investment opportunities across private markets, venture capital, and public markets.
- Conduct commercial assessment, financial analysis, and investment diligence.
- Analyse business models, market positioning, monetisation pathways, and unit economics.
- Contribute to investment memos and materials for internal decision-making.
- Lead research on global themes including AI, climate tech, digital inclusion, health systems transformation, and frontier technologies.
- Produce clear, structured insights to inform long-term investment theses.
- Conduct market mapping, competitive landscape analysis, and emerging trend reviews.
- Engage with deep‑tech driven business models, founders, and fund managers.
- Translate technical narratives into commercially relevant views, risks, and opportunities.
- Leverage advanced AI tools (LLMs, research automation tools, data platforms) to enhance workflow and research productivity.
- Track portfolio performance, manager updates, capital calls, and reporting cycles.
- Prepare periodic reviews and support portfolio governance processes.
- Interact with fund managers, external partners, research groups, and advisors.
- Support meeting preparation, documentation, and ongoing relationship management.
- 2-3 years of experience in strategy consulting, private equity, venture capital, investment analysis, or commercial strategy.
- Open to 3-4 years, which may align with a Senior Analyst title.
- Strong exposure to technology‑driven sectors and comfort evaluating emerging tech.
- International exposure (study or work abroad) is highly valued.
- High fluency in AI, software, digital platforms, data and emerging technologies.
- Strong research and analytical skills; ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgement and structured problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work independently with a long‑term, depth-first mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical fields preferred.
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc, etc.) is an advantage.
- CFA is not required.
- Curious, intellectually honest, and impact-oriented.
