Structural Site Engineer - High Rise Buildings - AECOM - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Oversee all structural works on site to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Supervise and coordinate structural inspectors to maintain quality and compliance standards
• Review and interpret contract documents and clarify technical requirements with contractors
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory standards
• Maintain detailed records including progress reports, material logs, change orders and record drawings
• Issue non-conformance reports for structural violations and coordinate corrective actions
• Conduct weekly coordination meetings with inspectors and project engineers
• Support the Resident Engineer and Project Lead in resolving technical site issues
• Participate in snagging processes, inspections and project handover activities
• Liaise with design engineers regarding structural modifications when required
• Monitor health and safety compliance related to structural works and halt unsafe activities if necessary

• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Master's Degree preferred
• Strong experience in high-rise residential and commercial building projects
• In-depth knowledge of structural engineering methodologies, materials and construction processes
• Experience in contract compliance, quality control and quality assurance inspections
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval requirements in Abu Dhabi
• Proven ability to lead and supervise inspection teams effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in multidisciplinary project environments
