Lead Structural Engineer - High Rise Projects - AECOM - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Oversee all structural works on site to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Supervise and coordinate structural inspectors to maintain quality control and assurance standards
• Review contract documents and applicable codes to ensure structural compliance throughout project execution
• Conduct audits of contractor inspections and evaluate conformity with approved plans
• Issue non-conformance reports for structural violations and coordinate corrective actions with project teams
• Maintain detailed records including progress reports, material logs, change orders and record drawings
• Support the Project Engineer and Resident Engineer in resolving technical and site-related challenges
• Attend coordination and progress meetings to address discrepancies in structural drawings or execution
• Liaise with design engineers to review and implement necessary structural modifications
• Monitor health and safety practices related to structural works and halt unsafe activities when required
• Participate in snagging, inspections and project handover processes to ensure successful delivery

• Bachelor Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural design, supervision and project administration within the Middle East
• Strong background in high-rise residential and commercial building projects
• In-depth knowledge of structural engineering methodologies, materials and construction practices
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and regulatory standards
• Proven leadership skills in managing inspection teams and coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders
