Design architecturally unique pedestrian bridges including steel, concrete, suspension, and precast bridge types
Develop concepts and detailed designs that balance aesthetics, structural integrity, constructability, and user experience
Ensure pedestrian bridge designs comply with Dubai accessibility standards and international guidelines such as ADA
Coordinate closely with structural, civil, and MEP disciplines to ensure accurate and timely design inputs
Guide and mentor junior architects and BIM modelers through coordinated bridge design development
Align design outputs with project objectives, schedules, and team targets in coordination with design management
Support authority submissions and address comments from Dubai Municipality, RTA, Trakhees, and other regulatorsCandidate Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
Minimum 12 years of professional architectural design experience with at least 5 years in Dubai or UAE
Proven specialization in pedestrian bridge design from concept to detailed design stages
Strong knowledge of local authority requirements including Dubai Municipality, RTA, Trakhees, and DDA
Demonstrated ability to integrate architectural vision with structural and functional requirements
Experience designing accessible pedestrian bridges compliant with Dubai and international accessibility standards
Registered Architect with UAE Society of Engineers and approved by Dubai Municipality
Strong coordination, communication, and design leadership skillsDesired Profile
Master's Degree in Architecture or Urban Design preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino or Grasshopper, 3ds Max, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience working with BIM workflows on infrastructure, urban, and public realm projects
Strong concept design capability integrating sustainability, lighting, smart technologies, and urban context
Ability to lead pedestrian bridge designs through presentations, authority reviews, and stakeholder coordination
