Accountant

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies

• Support audits by providing required documentation and reports

• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable ledger

• Ensure timely invoicing and accurate recording of transactions

• Follow up on outstanding payments and support collection efforts

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare regular aging reports and highlight overdue accounts

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Good understanding of UAE VAT and compliance requirements

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Strong communication and follow-up skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

• Applicant must be currently a Dubai resident

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics 365, ZOHO or similar)

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus

• Experience in IT Distribution
