MEP Engineer - Parsons Corporation - Dubai, UAE

• Perform continuous inspection and surveillance of MEP and utilities works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes, and standards
• Inspect installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems including PLC cabling, sensing and relaying devices, interface coordination, and building services subsystems
• Inspect firefighting systems, gas-based fire suppression systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and associated controls
• Inspect HVAC systems including chilled water systems, AHUs, package units, controls, pneumatic and electrical actuation systems
• Inspect drainage, water supply, and plumbing installations
• Document non-conformances and support resolution in coordination with the supervision team
• Verify that only approved materials are incorporated into the works
• Maintain project files, quantity calculations, daily diaries, and prepare daily reports as required by the contract
• Collect, review, and file certificates of compliance, inspection tags, and material documentation
• Maintain and update as-built plans related to MEP works
• Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors when required
• Coordinate subconsultants for surveying and material testing activities
• Participate in the development of job safety practices, safety reports, and quality control procedures
• Verify installed quantities for payment applications and change order works
• Respond to emergency call-backs at the project site when required
• Perform additional duties associated with MEP inspection and supervision as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a construction-related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in field construction and MEP inspection roles
• Proven experience on large residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments
• Strong knowledge of engineering and construction processes and industry practices
• Ability to perform inspection tasks independently with attention to quality and safety
