Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Perform continuous inspection and surveillance of MEP and utilities works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes, and standards
- Inspect installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems including PLC cabling, sensing and relaying devices, interface coordination, and building services subsystems
- Inspect firefighting systems, gas-based fire suppression systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and associated controls
- Inspect HVAC systems including chilled water systems, AHUs, package units, controls, pneumatic and electrical actuation systems
- Inspect drainage, water supply, and plumbing installations
- Document non-conformances and support resolution in coordination with the supervision team
- Verify that only approved materials are incorporated into the works
- Maintain project files, quantity calculations, daily diaries, and prepare daily reports as required by the contract
- Collect, review, and file certificates of compliance, inspection tags, and material documentation
- Maintain and update as-built plans related to MEP works
- Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors when required
- Coordinate subconsultants for surveying and material testing activities
- Participate in the development of job safety practices, safety reports, and quality control procedures
- Verify installed quantities for payment applications and change order works
- Respond to emergency call-backs at the project site when required
- Perform additional duties associated with MEP inspection and supervision as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a construction-related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in field construction and MEP inspection roles
- Proven experience on large residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of engineering and construction processes and industry practices
- Ability to perform inspection tasks independently with attention to quality and safety
- MEP inspection and supervision
