- Develop, implement and to coordinate effectively to all matters related to Health, Safety, Environment, Water treatment and landscaping activities. Development and implementation of Refinery standard operating procedures, TRAKHEES Regulations and ISO standard requirements.
- Responsible for the Inspection, Testing and Certification of Refinery machinery, Equipment's and all 3rd party related certification.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities on permit/license renewal related to Health, Safety and environment.
- Ensure strict adherence by Refinery employees to safety requirements as per the company standards and legislations.
- Spot any deviation from safety standards, conduct needed investigation and report to relevant Department Manager and take corrective action to eliminate risks as appropriate.
- Keep track of complete and updated information on all Safety incidents and near misses as per the required standards and legislations.
- Provide needed training and awareness to all employees as well as third-party workers on the use of PPEs, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with purchase department on procurement of Water treatment chemicals, Landscaping chemicals and Refinery uniforms and other PPE
- Log all documentation related to the processes from development to implementation and update SAP management system accordingly.
- Acting as Management repressive for ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 implementation and development
- Ensure all waste management programs are reviewed and coordinate accordingly with external authorities.
- Check and log all key EHS performance indicators.
- Inform immediate superior from time to time of any deviations/abnormalities occurring within the area of responsibility and record them in the logbook for reference.
- Comply with safety requirements and encourages safe working practices.
- Coordinate all water treatment activities in and out of AKS
- To adhere to the AKS's Quality Management system, Environmental Management System, Occupational Health & Safety Management system, HACCP & Food Safety System, ISO 17025 standard, ISO 27001 standard and SEDEX requirements.”
