Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all Health and Safety related matters within the facility
- Prepare, implement, and maintain H and S checklists and safety documentation
- Ensure all workers consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Conduct daily safety rounds inside and outside the facility perimeter to identify hazards and near-miss risks
- Coordinate with supervisors to address safety observations and corrective actions
- Monitor discipline, timeliness, and orderly conduct within the facility
- Report any indiscipline, unsafe behavior, or misconduct to management
- Support and conduct regular H and S training, safety awareness sessions, and safety induction for staff
- Assist in recording, investigating, and maintaining incident and accident reports
- Inspect, maintain, and keep records of safety equipment and tools, arranging periodic checks and repairs
- Manage first aid kits, maintain stock records, and provide first aid assistance when required
- Lead and participate in emergency evacuation drills and act as part of the evacuation response team
- Ensure emergency exits are accessible, functional, and properly maintained
- Monitor high-risk activities and enforce safety controls
- Support proper waste management, housekeeping standards, and workplace hygiene
- Carry out additional duties assigned by the department head as required
- Bachelor's Degree is mandatory
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification required
- Mid-level experience in a safety or HSE role, preferably within logistics or warehousing
- Energetic and physically fit, with readiness for on-site inspections and activities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify hazards and near-miss risks
- Excellent people management and discipline handling skills
- Self-disciplined with a proactive approach to upholding safety culture
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
