Assess the IT needs and define and implement a technology and infrastructure strategy to address them
Utilize IT performance monitoring tools and metrics to maintain quality of all developed IT systems and technology workflows ensuring alignment with local organizational technology requirements and continuously optimizing them to enhance operational efficiency and user experience
Build strong partnerships with internal departments and external vendors to ensure alignment on IT standards, best practices, and integrate user feedback to improve system functionality.
Address and resolve technical issues and concerns and other end-users as required to ensure high user satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities1.Develop Technology and Digital Enablement Strategy:Identify comprehensive IT needs for the hub and broader ecosystem to develop its IT strategy and drive its implementation, including detailed technological development, online presence, website, and employee software in line with the Abu Dhabi Government’s guidelines and policies2.Develop and Implement IT Infrastructure:Lead the development and set-up of IT infrastructure ecosystem, including networks, hardware, software systems, and cloud services, adhering to industry best practices and security standards and ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with organizational goals3. Anticipate and Monitor Potential Technological Risks:Monitor the development of relevant technological risks (such as viruses and ransomware) and develop counter measures including disaster recovery plans in line with operation continuity requirements during any outage, to prevent any data loss through implementing backup plansMonitor the performance of the data centres and initiate corrective action where required4. Maintain Quality of IT Systems:Establish and enforce standards and protocols to maintain the quality, performance, and security of IT systems including system replacements, hardware upgrades, and application development and conduct regular assessments to identify and address areas for improvement Prepare periodic reports to identify the level of compliance with IT policies across and identify areas of improvement5. Provide Technical Assistance:Serve as a primary point of contact for technical assistance and support, offering expertise and guidance to address IT-related issues as needed and ensure smooth operations for end-users and staff members6. Ensure Coordination Between Relevant Stakeholders:Manage relationships with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions that meet the organization's needs and objectives including efforts to establish the online presence and increase its visibility to beneficiaries
