This is a great opportunity for talented engineers to gain additional technical exposure within an internationally renowned consultant delivering projects around the globe.To fill our current openings, we are inviting talented Structural Designers with minimum 8 years of relevant experience to join our Offshore Structural team in UAE.Core Responsibilities
  • Preparation of conceptual/basic and detailed design drawings of Structural Steel Works for Offshore Platforms/structures.
  • Preparation of Structural Steel GAs, Plans, Sections and Details.
  • Modeling of structural steel using PDMS / Tekla. Prepare 2D drawings using PDMS draft / Tekla model. Prepare MTOs.
  • Preparation of Structural drawings for detailed Engineering with minimum guidance from Engineers.
  • Preparation of detailed Engineering drawings as per drafting standards and quality procedures.
  • Site visit as and when required to collect the project related site information.
  • Study and understand the scope of work and clients' standards with related international standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
  • Capable to guide/supervise the junior designer's work.
  • A committed team player able to work on own initiative with the minimum of supervision.
Core Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years proven experience in detailed Engineering drafting (Steel Structures) for Offshore Oil & Gas Projects.
  • Hands-on proven experience in AutoCAD required.
  • Experience in PDMS / Tekla / SP3D is preferred.
  • Middle East experience is preferable.
