Senior Technician - Structures - AECOM - Dubai, UAE

• Develop and manage structural BIM models in line with the approved BIM Execution Plan and project standards
• Implement BIM processes across all project stages from concept design through handover
• Produce coordinated 2D deliverables including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings
• Maintain and update discipline-specific BIM models to reflect design development and changes
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models to ensure clash-free and accurate outputs
• Conduct regular model audits to ensure compliance, model health, and data quality
• Coordinate closely with structural design teams to accurately represent design intent
• Extract drawings using correct scales, view templates, and title blocks as per project requirements
• Support sheet setup, annotations, print checks, and submission workflows
• Apply BIM quality control tools such as Revit warnings and model checking processes
• Support project teams with model setup, coordination reviews, and drawing package development
• Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when required

• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in BIM and digital delivery for structural projects
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM coordination workflows
• Experience with interoperability between Revit and other design and coordination tools
• Proficiency in automation workflows using Dynamo and Grasshopper
• Working knowledge of Rhino and Revizto
• Basic understanding of ISO 19650 standards
• Solid foundation in structural design principles
• Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines and quality standards
