Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a motivated Research Assistant for a 2-year funded Startup Grant project. The research focuses on the preparation, characterization, and predictive modeling of hybrid nanofluids for energy applications. The RA will conduct experiments on nanofluid thermophysical properties (thermal conductivity, viscosity, density, specific heat) and contribute to the development of machine learning models. Responsibilities include laboratory experiments, data analysis, preparation of manuscripts, and support for dissemination activities.Minimum Qualification
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. • Experience in nanofluid preparation and thermal property measurement. • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as viscometers, calorimeters, and conductivity meters. • Strong technical writing and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team.
