Overall Purpose of the JobOrganises and coordinates all activities associated with maintaining equipment within one or more workshop facility. Develop and implement programs to ensure equipment reliability. Budget responsibility for the department and supervises through sub-ordinates. Responsible for ensuring all operations within the facility comply with the Company's safety and quality management policies and actively implement programs to ensure continued compliance and meeting of company goals.Key Activities and Accountabilities1. Coordinate all workshop activities to ensure operational, project and engineering delivery schedules are met.2. Ensure that all equipment is maintained and/or repaired in conformance with Company' policies and certification requirements3. Ensure equipment movements recorded to ensure total compliance with procedures4. Develop and implement programs to ensure service quality and equipment reliability5. Undertake the supervision within the facility6. Ensure that the latest revision of documentation is used and outdated versions are removed from circulation; ensure that maintenance staff are informed of and understand any changes to the maintenance procedures and job cards7. Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines8. Where appropriate, liaise with operations department to ensure that all 3rd party rental items are tracked returned to the supplier at the earliest opportunity.9. Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/ demobilisation updates etc. Ensure that tool box talks and planning meetings are undertaken when required.10. Ensure that Stop Work Authority is reinforced with all maintenance staff. Ensure that the maintenance status board is accurate.11. Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client's requirements including the use of Document Change Request (DCR) for updates to any controlled documents.12. As necessary, ensure that pressure test equipment including chart recorders and test pumps are maintained and certified as per the Quality Management System13. Liaise with team members and internal departments as and when required to ensure all aspects of the workshop operations are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to allow continued safe operations and task completionJob Knowledge and Qualifications1. Hold a Technical Qualification2. 10 years previous work experience within a related technical field3. Previous supervisory experience4. Knowledge of SAP system
