- Determine facility requirements of new structure development and renovation.
- Identify the requirements in relation to design, specifications, materials, colour, equipment, and estimate costs and construction time frame.
- Prepare RFPs and tendering documents, administrate tender analyses reports and verify document of guarantees and defective maintenance warrantees.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and government authorities to ensure the provision of quality work and adherence to contractual terms and standards.
- Oversee the carrying out of periodic/preventative maintenance work for facilities and ensure adherence to the maintenance contracts.
- Monitor work being performed by external contractors for both maintenance and development projects and carry out cost control procedures.
- Develop and present reports on project progress to the Finance Department to settle the required payments.
- Oversee insurance settlements - accident and other insurance claims.
- Prepare the yearly budget for building maintenance and general expenses.
- Check frequently the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders
