This role is essential in delivering advanced interventional cardiology care for pediatric patients, supporting complex congenital and acquired heart conditions. The Consultant will play a key role in procedural excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and improving cardiac outcomes in a high-acuity clinical environment.Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced pediatric cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including ASD, VSD, and PDA closures
- Conduct balloon valvuloplasty, angioplasty, stenting, and complex congenital interventions
- Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiac care for pediatric patients
- Interpret echocardiography, ECG, Holter monitoring, and cardiac imaging
- Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac meetings and surgical planning discussions
- Provide on-call coverage for pediatric cardiac emergencies
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and neonatologists
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and protocol development
- Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and clinical teams
- Engage in research, audits, and academic teaching activities
- Medical degree with specialization in Pediatric Cardiology
- Fellowship-trained in Interventional Pediatric Cardiology
- Board-certified from a recognized authority
- 5-10 years of post-fellowship experience in high-volume cardiac centers
- Strong procedural experience in pediatric cardiac interventions
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Eligible for UAE medical licensing
- Pediatric cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Congenital heart disease management

- Hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac diagnostics
