- Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand procurement needs and specifications.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
- Implement and enforce procurement policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and activities.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and potential risks to make informed procurement decisions.
- Participate in the development of procurement strategies.
- Accounting:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with accounting standards.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Provide financial information to management and other stakeholders as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer and/or Accountant, or in similar roles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in procurement and accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in financial reporting, and strong analytical skills.
