You will be able to help evolve our offerings in a number of our core sectors as we are supporting our clients to tackle some of their most complex business problems. You will take an integral role in identifying, shaping and cultivating new opportunities to work with clients, much of the time in close partnership with other areas of the firm.This Director opportunity is a permanent position located in Riyadh and reports to a Partner.The ideal candidate will be at home operating at the intersection of business strategy and technology, partnering with corporate C-suite executives and Private Equity Operating Partners to drive business growth, transformation, and long-term value creation.We bring a distinctive combination of deep technical expertise and sharp commercial acumen to deliver sustainable impact hands-on.Examples of our past work include helping some of the world's best known companies leverage technology to realise their business objectives, working with private equity investors to evolve their company portfolios, and supporting high-profile turnaround cases.This description is not designed to encompass a comprehensive listing of required activities, duties or responsibilities.What you'll need
  • The ideal candidate will have a mixture of 15+ years, digital consulting and industry experience
  • Hands-on leadership experience from a highly relevant Digital and Technology role in industry, in Saudi Arabia, would be desirable
  • Extensive blue chip consulting experience in Digital and Technology strategy development, operating model, capability and governance design is essential
  • Experience of delivering large and complex Digital transformation and technology execution programmes with multiple workstreams
  • Industry experience preferred in Telecom, Retail, Oil & Gas
  • Strong experience in relationship management, proposal development and strong commercial instincts are key. In addition, an ability to generate growing demand for our wider firm capabilities and resources in prospective and existing clients
  • Demonstrable ability to understand AI concepts and how they are applied to the technology solutions
  • Deep expertise with Technology stack(s), IT Architecture, Technology Operating Model and Organizational Design as well as ERP solutions etc.
  • Experience working with clients formulating hypotheses of potential business issues and reasons for financial performance, and an ability to develop data-driven and analytical approaches for improving performance using Technology
  • You will hold valid residency for Saudi Arabia, or be able to obtain such, (administrative support will be provided by AlixPartners to obtain permits); ability to obtain work permit to travel and work across EU
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is advantageous
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
