Video Operator

• Coordination with the production team in order to determine the materials required during the program.
• Run the virtual server on the exchange (During live or recorded in-studio production or during an external broadcast in order to fulfill operational requirements (VTR) and video recorders (EVR).
• Implementation of immediate replay of high-profile incidents as needed and production of materials for analysis by stakeholders (ie program contributors and others).
• Report maintenance requests for related equipment and systems in a timely manner to ensure that service is not interrupted.
• Keep abreast of any developments in the field of video operations in order to provide adequate recommendations to the line manager.
• Build and maintain a professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve goals and ensure smooth operations.
• Deal with emergency situations and preparing adequate alternative plans in order to ensure that service is not interrupted.
