Conduct research and data analysis aligned with the scientific objectives of the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt in collaboration with NYUAD faculty, the UAE Space Agency, and international partners.
Support laboratory experiments and numerical modeling related to asteroid science and deep-space environments.
Participate in mission-related operations, coordination activities, and technical meetings with mission teams.
Contribute to scientific writing, conference participation, and outreach activities supporting planetary science and national capability development.
Engage in professional development activities and academic training to support future graduate studies.Ideal Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Astronomy, Planetary Science, Geology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated interest in planetary exploration, deep-space missions, and scientific research.
Prior research or laboratory experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.Skills Set
