The position focuses on advanced research in partial differential equations and related mathematical frameworks, with particular relevance to physical and kinetic systems.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in mathematical analysis and partial differential equations
- Develop theoretical results in magnetohydrodynamics and the mathematical theory of plasmas
- Study collisional kinetic models and their hydrodynamic limits
- Investigate dispersive phenomena in kinetic theory
- Contribute to research on quantum gases and related mathematical models
- Publish research findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and collaborative research activities at NYU Abu Dhabi
- PhD in Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field
- Strong academic background in the analysis of partial differential equations
- Research experience in areas such as theoretical physics, fluid mechanics, kinetic theory, dispersive equations, or harmonic analysis
- Demonstrated record of high-quality academic research
- Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
