• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations to diagnose a wide range of eye conditions and vision disorders
• Perform advanced ophthalmic surgical procedures including cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and other subspecialty procedures where applicable
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic ocular diseases using evidence-based treatment approaches
• Interpret ophthalmic diagnostic tests including OCT imaging, fundus photography, visual field testing, and ocular ultrasound
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal surgical outcomes for patients
• Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
• Educate patients regarding eye health, treatment plans, and preventive eye care practices
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital and healthcare regulatory standards
• Participate in departmental clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support medical education and mentorship of junior physicians and clinical staff

• Medical degree from a recognized university with specialization in Ophthalmology
• Board certification in Ophthalmology or equivalent recognized qualification
• Minimum five years of post qualification experience in ophthalmology practice
• Expertise in ophthalmic diagnostic techniques and surgical procedures
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills with fluency in Arabic
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural clinical environments
