It plays a key role in enhancing efficiency, maintaining engineering standards, and supporting production operations.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor manufacturing engineering team supporting daily operations
- Manage machining processes, tooling, programming, and secondary operations
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and process capability
- Monitor production performance and ensure efficiency and utilization targets
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
- Evaluate and introduce new manufacturing technologies and tooling solutions
- Lead CAPEX initiatives for new equipment and technology investments
- Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives and compliance
- Assess machining capabilities and coordinate subcontracting requirements
- Maintain and update CAD layouts and engineering documentation
- Support ERP-based process routing, reporting, and technical documentation
- Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related engineering field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in machining or manufacturing engineering
- Strong experience in precision machining and multi-axis operations
- Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing process routing
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills
