Job Position - Project CoordinatorKey Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
Assist the team in planning and executing interior fit-out and joinery projects.
Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and installation teams.
Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines.Technical & Material Coordination:
Review shop drawings, material specifications, and BOQs related to woodwork and joinery.
Coordinate procurement of wood materials, laminates, veneers, MDF, plywood, and hardware.
Ensure materials comply with project specifications and quality standards.
Support material approvals and sample submissions.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain project documentation including:
Drawings
RFIs
Material submittals
Site reports
Variation orders
Prepare progress reports.
Site & Production Coordination:
Liaise with factory production teams and site supervisors.
Monitor production schedules for joinery items.
Coordinate delivery and installation schedules.
Assist in resolving technical or material issues during project execution.Requirements:
2-5 years experience in project coordination within:
Joinery
Interior fit-out
Wood manufacturing
Furniture production.
Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of wood materials and joinery processes.Understanding of:
MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, solid wood
Joinery fabrication methods
Interior fit-out installation procedures.Software Skills:
AutoCAD
