We are seeking a strategic Director of Investments & Treasury for a leading insurance company in Dubai.This high-impact role is 70% investments and 30% treasury, focusing on maximizing investment performance while ensuring efficient treasury operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead investment strategy for shareholders' and policyholders' funds, overseeing asset allocation, manager selection, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on investment opportunities across equities, fixed income, real assets, and other permitted asset classes.
  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to integrate investment outcomes into overall company performance.
  • Manage treasury operations, including liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships.
  • Optimize working capital and implement efficient funding structures.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing investment and treasury team.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Strong background in fund management and investments within insurance or takaful.
  • 10-15 years of experience in investments, treasury, or asset/liability management.
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, CTP, or ACT highly desirable.
  • Experience with UAE/GCC insurance regulatory frameworks.
  • Leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
  • Exposure to Shariah-compliant investment frameworks is a plus but not mandatory.
