- Have experience teaching Physics at A Level
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Physics and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Plan, prepare, and assess effectively, maintaining accurate records of student progress
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes innovation, curiosity, and a love of learning
- Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
- Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, supporting whole-school initiatives and events
- Uphold GEMS policies, procedures, and core values at all times
- Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to support student development
- Engage in continuous professional development and performance management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related Science subject
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Strong classroom practice with a proven ability to inspire and motivate students in Physics
- Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning
- Willingness to contribute to wider school life and a collaborative professional learning culture
