The role is designed for researchers interested in understanding policy spillovers, firm dynamics, and spatial interactions in developing economies.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in firm dynamics, economic growth, and structural transformation
- Collaborate with faculty on research projects focused on firm-level supply chains and business networks
- Design and implement surveys in low-income and developing country contexts
- Work with large-scale and firm-level datasets
- Apply empirical and theoretical models of firm dynamics and structural change
- Analyze policy spillovers in spatial and network-based economic environments
- Prepare research outputs for submission to top-tier academic journals and conferences
- Contribute to a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment
- PhD in Economics, completed or near completion
- Strong background in both empirical and theoretical economics
- Expertise in firm dynamics, growth, development, or spatial economics
- Advanced coding and data analysis skills
