Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities.
Communicate with clients, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Plan and schedule shipments, routes, and deliveries to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
Track and monitor the movement of goods using logistics software and systems.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs forms.
Resolve transportation and logistics issues, such as delays, damages, or shortages, in a timely manner.
Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and service agreements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure adequate stock levels and proper storage.
Provide regular updates and reports to management on logistics performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to identify opportunities for process improvements.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as TMS (Transportation Management System) and WMS (Warehouse Management System).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in logistics operations.
