Mechanical Maintenance Technician Rotating Equipment - DP World - Dubai, UAE

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, fans, blowers, and piping systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of mechanical systems and rotating equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns and implement effective repair solutions
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and systems
• Conduct alignment of pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment to maintain operational efficiency
• Maintain lubrication schedules to support equipment reliability and performance
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, operation manuals, and technical specifications
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment service history
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company maintenance policies during repair activities
• Provide support to other maintenance teams including electrical and plumbing teams when required
• Properly operate and maintain mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment
• Ensure maintenance work complies with operational safety standards and engineering best practices

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Two to four years of experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial equipment servicing
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical maintenance practices
• Familiarity with pumps, motors, compressors, and HVAC mechanical systems
• Ability to use mechanical tools, alignment equipment, and measurement instruments
