The Land Surveyor plays a critical role in delivering reliable survey data that supports construction accuracy and project efficiency. This position ensures proper setting-out, monitors site conditions, and contributes to safe and compliant infrastructure development.Key Responsibilities
- Review technical drawings and documentation related to survey works
- Perform land and field surveys along with geodetic calculations
- Supervise survey activities and coordinate with contractors and project teams
- Verify survey requirements and ensure accuracy of measurements on site
- Check levels, setting-out, and utility locations to prevent conflicts and damage
- Prepare sketches and maintain detailed survey records including field books and calculations
- Measure completed works and support progress verification
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings for completed structures
- Follow site safety standards and actively participate in safety programs
- Coordinate survey tasks to meet deadlines and project requirements
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in bridges and infrastructure projects
- Experience working with consultancy firms in UAE is preferred
- Strong knowledge of total station, GPS, and survey data collection tools
- Familiarity with CAD and survey software systems
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to perform effectively in site-based environments
