Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:BIM/CAD Modeler (Utilities)Dubai, UAEWhat You'll Be Doing:Work closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completionWorks with BIM lead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completionUnderstand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completionReview each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC processGood knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric familiesStrong knowledge in LOD requirementsCollaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasksGood knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash reportAble to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the modelPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • A diploma or degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of CAD drafting experience, specifically on wet and dry utilities projects.
  • You are proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D and ACC BIM Workflows.
  • You have good knowledge of BIM and understand Level of Development (LOD) requirements and BIM processes.
  • You are able to communicate clearly in English.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • UAE and GCC experience is preferred.
  • You have experience working within a Common Data Environment, particularly ProjectWise and BIM360.
  • You have experience with Navisworks.
