Hiring experienced Civil engineer to manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction projects, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to UAE regulations and timelines.Key Responsibilities:
- Review inquiries by checking project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Prepare RFQs and send inquiries to approved suppliers and subcontractors
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluations of quotations
- Prepare vendor comparison sheets
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and Subcontracts as per company proceduresRequirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil only
- 5+ years of procurement experience in the UAE construction industry
- Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers and market rates
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts (preferred)
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Valid UAE Driving License (preferred)Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation skills
- Cost analysis & budgeting expertise
- Technical understanding of civil drawings
- Excellent communication & coordination
