Infrastructure Site Engineer Construction Supervision Dubai UAE is responsible for overseeing daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications, reviewing technical submissions, and supporting project delivery through strong coordination with contractors, inspectors, and authorities.Key Responsibilities
- Review inspectors' daily reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards
- Prepare daily engineering diary summarizing site activities, progress, and observations
- Supervise inspectors' work, assign tasks, and provide technical guidance on-site
- Review contractor inspection requests, survey data, and testing reports for compliance
- Approve shop drawings, materials, and construction methods as delegated
- Monitor contractor survey works and verify accuracy of setting-out activities
- Coordinate with contractor teams on construction methodology, sequencing, and timelines
- Track progress against approved baseline schedules and highlight delays or risks
- Conduct regular field inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with HSE standards
- Identify non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and ensure closure
- Review and verify as-built drawings for project documentation
- Prepare technical reports and updates for project management and engineering teams
- Liaise with authorities such as RTA, DEWA, DM, Etisalat, DU, and Civil Defense for inspections and approvals
- Ensure timely submission and approval of NOCs required for construction and handover
- Coordinate with utility providers for connections, diversions, and protection of services
- Maintain records of authority approvals, communications, and project documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in infrastructure and utilities construction projects in UAE
- Strong knowledge of construction supervision, quality control, and engineering standards
- Familiarity with Dubai authority procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ability to review technical drawings, reports, and project documentation
- Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices on construction sites
