The Inspector - Civil Engineering plays a key role in supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring all works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. This position supports safe execution, quality assurance, and timely project completion.Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, contract specifications, and safety requirements prior to execution
- Perform routine site inspections to confirm compliance with approved plans and standards
- Record daily site activities including manpower, equipment, materials, and testing results
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to monitor progress and resolve site issues
- Prepare inspection reports and submit updates to Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
- Implement site instructions and report non-compliance or technical issues promptly
- Assist with survey checks, measurements, and alignment verification for infrastructure works
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover processes ensuring complete documentation
- Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, and other regulatory standards
- Promote strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental practices on site
- Extensive experience in civil engineering inspection for infrastructure or road projects
- Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations and quality standards
- Ability to manage inspections, documentation, and contractor coordination effectively
- Familiarity with quality management systems and reporting procedures
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Capable of working efficiently in fast-paced construction environments
