Carlson Recruiters is partnering with a healthcare provider in the UAE to recruit an experienced Lead Clinical Social Worker to join their Psychosocial Services team. This is a leadership role focused on delivering high-quality psychosocial care for adults with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions, within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.Role OverviewYou will lead the delivery of clinical social work services, including biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and discharge planning, while contributing to service development and team supervision.Key Responsibilities:
Lead clinical social work assessments, risk evaluation, and intervention planning
Oversee crisis response, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care
Collaborate closely with psychiatry, psychology, and MDT teams
Manage discharge planning and continuity of care pathways
Provide professional supervision and leadership to team members
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, documentation, and UAE regulationsRequirements:
Master's degree in Social Work
DOH eligibility (mandatory)
Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience, ideally with complex mental health or addiction cases
Proven experience in leadership, supervision, and multidisciplinary collaboration
Strong skills in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and care coordinationPreferred:
Western-trained Tier 1 candidates
Experience in addiction services
