These systems include cryogenic tanks for LOX/LIN/LAR/LCO2 gases, atmospheric vaporizers, Gas Mixers, Gas Manifolds, and Gas Piping.Must be able to fabricate various items using threaded pipe, brazed copper, compression fitting stainless, welded steel, brazed bronze, etc.
Ability to travel anytime to customer sites to attend service/breakdown on a priority basis.The role provides a front-line business-critical activity. As part of the Air Products team, the incumbent supports the continuing customer relationship with the company, which improves long-term retention.1) Installation management
  • Ensure to conduct an inspection of assets before installation.
  • Manage on-site coordination with customers following AP and customer site safety rules and regulations.
  • Assist in executing new customer installations (All Types of Gases: AG, CO2, & Specialty Gases). This includes helping in providing material from the local market and leading Subcontractors for installing equipment, piping systems, welding, testing, and commissioning (Integration of Activities)
  • Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing observation, or other methods.
  • Facilitate tools troubleshooting & inspection of systems.
  • Commission and coordinate customer training on standard Installations.
  • Provided customer on-site equipment training, support installation, commissioning, repair, and spare parts management.
2) After The service of Installations
  • Ensure preventive maintenance, planned inspection and system upgrades (electromechanical) of industrial & medical.
  • business in the concerned area to maximize equipment availability and reliability and minimize the cost impact
  • Attain customer satisfaction (Integration of Activities)
  • Attend to customer complaints, provide feedback to customers, and maintain records.
  • Prepare job cards, preventive maintenance checklist, function test reports, and maintain installation history.
  • Execute the After Sales Services as per plan and/or commitment with the customer.
  • Timely and professional handling of field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits.
  • Provide high-level technical support to customers at their location and respond to customer queries.
  • Report to immediate superior all non-conforming materials and services received for use in his areas or operations and include recommendations for corrections.
3) Spot Job Service
  • Execute spot job service and lead/support subcontractors to complete spot jobs within a designated time frame.
4) Maintenance and records
  • Support maintenance activities with an important impact on IM operation (Integration of Functions)
  • Repair & weld Piping defects (TIG Welding & Brazing)
  • Assist in implementing and carrying out maintenance as per the PM plan for CE.
  • Carry out functionality tests of instruments as per SWIMs under the supervision of the Line Manager
  • Make sure to carry out breakdown / corrective maintenance of CE as per business requirements.
  • Take part in pump maintenance as per requirements.
  • Assist in keeping sufficient stock levels of spares.
  • Make sure to update maintenance records and maintain history cards of equipment.
  • Support cryo maintenance and production dpt. as and when required.
  • Follow the PM plan correctly and coordinate with the operations and customer service teams.
  • Ensure safe usage of all hand tools and equipment tools.
  • Day-to-day responsibility for the management, safe operation, and regular maintenance of the liquid TANK installations including bulk storage vessels, associated pipework, and manifolds. Identifying & rectifying faults when they occur.
  • Maintaining service records and ordering spares and service parts.
  • Perform hands-on commissioning, troubleshooting, service, and repair of cryogenic tanks, pumps, and related equipment for the LOX, LIN, LAR, LCO2, and industrial gases.
  • Create field service reports and maintain service information.
5) Welding & Fabrication
  • Take responsibility for cutting and joining metal products using gas flame, electric arc, and thermite.

  • Must be able to fabricate various items using threaded pipe, brazed copper, compression fitting stainless, welded steel, brazed bronze, etc. Willing to train a motivated individual.
  • Cut, thread, and hammer pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of welding machines.
  • Efficiently make and repair lead linings, pipes, floors, and other lead fixtures with the use of a blow torch
  • Manage any fabrication operations related to Cryogenic tank maintenance and customer installations.
  • Ensure all fabrication operations are carried out as per AP safety practice.
  • Ensure that all tools are organized as per operational requirements.
  • Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools.
6) Knowledge of know-how specific to the Job
  • Knowledge of cryogenic and industrial gas filling centers
  • Knowledge of basic properties of inert gases
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment
7) Hard competence skills
  • Authorized 3rd party certified welder +5 years
  • Cryogenic and Industrial gases maintenance experience +5 years
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs and maintenance Equipment Selection
  • Modest hands-on electrical skills.
  • Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
