- Monitor and track the status of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm production schedules, shipping arrangements, and delivery milestones.
- Expedite late deliveries by identifying and addressing bottlenecks or delays.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Perform regular follow-ups with vendors to ensure compliance with delivery terms.
- Escalate unresolved issues or persistent delays to senior management.
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and project teams to align delivery schedules with operational needs.
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams for proper receipt and storage of goods.
- Maintain records of all expediting activities, including supplier communications and delivery updates.
- Prepare and share regular progress reports with internal stakeholders
- Ensure accurate documentation of shipping details, invoices, and packing lists.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
- Resolve disputes related to delayed shipments or incomplete orders in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in expediting or supply chain roles.
- Industry experience in oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of procurement and expediting processes.
- Knowledge of shipping terms (e.g., INCOTERMS), logistics operations, and import/export compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
