- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and providing coaching and feedback.
- Conduct thorough inspections of cleaned rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Address guest concerns and complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
- Prepare reports on room occupancy, housekeeping productivity, and department expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a housekeeping supervisor role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding guest expectations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in cleaning procedures and the use of various cleaning equipment.
- Working knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
