- Generate qualified sales leads and opportunities for the Energy, Industrial, Water, and Environment business unit, meeting specified quarterly and annual targets across designated services.
- Conduct various new business development initiatives to deliver qualified sales leads.
- Proactively establish relationships with potential client organizations to gain a deeper understanding of their business needs.
- Enhance the company's brand presence within defined client organizations and across the Energy, Industrial, Water, and Environment sectors.
- Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the main industry sectors in your domain, including market dynamics, forces, industry practices, structures, and business functionalities to identify key business opportunities.
- Profile prospective clients and leverage identified needs to create impactful proposals and value propositions.
- Manage key stakeholders within sector/practice areas to exceed expectations and adhere to timelines.
- Develop high-quality content to support business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with a global team of experts to deliver a compelling customer experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating creativity and innovation.
- The ability to generate sales leads/opportunities through proactive approaches using various methods such as social media, industry/event networking, tele-calling, email campaigns, etc.
- Accurate reporting of sales activity metrics when required, following adaptations of the typical SPANCO approach.
- Autonomy in achieving specific individual lead generation targets and KPIs.
- Strong capability to develop internal and external working relationships.
- Organizational skills and the ability to arrange high-level meetings with support from the consulting and advisory team.
- The ability to create demand and awareness for the company brand and services.
- High influencing skills, with a confident, proactive, and methodical approach.
- Proficiency in interacting across different experience levels, including CxO levels, and various personality styles and job profiles.
- Preferably, a degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Management, which would be advantageous for success in this role.
- Proven sales track record, especially in the GCC region.
- Previous experience in selling to the Energy, Industrial, Water, and Environment industries.
- An MBA would be desirable but not essential.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic would be ideal but not essential.
- A degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Management would be advantageous for success in this role.
- A passion for sales and building professional relationships.
- Proven business-to-business (B2B) sales/business development experience, particularly in the services sector.
- Direct external client contact experience in a professional and fast-paced business environment; Past experience in selling research, consulting, and advisory services would be desirable.
- Proven track record in gathering business-relevant information and generating client interest through multiple means.
- Demonstrable experience in consultative selling and understanding of the B2B service sales process/structure.
