This position supports core financial operations by handling reconciliation activities for payment systems and card-related accounts. It plays a key role in identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting continuous improvement in reconciliation processes and system efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily GL reconciliations ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal financial controls
- Monitor and resolve reconciliation exceptions within defined timelines
- Track outstanding items and escalate ageing issues with proper documentation
- Process financial vouchers related to issuing and acquiring operations in line with policies
- Perform monthly amortization of prepaid expenses and validate account balances
- Prepare AOV inputs and support balance substantiation activities
- Maintain detailed audit trails and ensure readiness for internal and external audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and close open items
- Support system testing and enhancements impacting reconciliation workflows
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial operations or reconciliation roles
- Strong understanding of GL reconciliation and financial processes
- Experience in payments or card operations environment preferred
- Ability to manage high-volume data with precision and consistency
