Egis' long history of providing comprehensive engineering, consulting, and project management services makes it a trusted partner for regional governments, investors, and developers.Job DescriptionSummary:Mechanical Technician will execute critical maintenance activities during refuelling outages at a nuclear power plant, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities and Knowledge:
  • Manual Operated Valves - globe valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, pressure safety / relief valves, check valves. Overhaul, replace packing and lapping;
  • and/or: Flange management; bolting / torquing;
  • and/or: Centrifugal pumps, motor-pump alignment;
  • and/or: Lubrication and bearing replacement.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on various mechanical systems
  • Carry out critical component replacements and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal system performance and safety.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years in mechanical maintenance - preferably at a nuclear power plant.
