Responsibilities for IT Support Engineer
  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
Minimum
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in an IT support position in a large company/School
Job Specific
Knowledge &
Skills
  • Broad range of LAN/WAN and IP telephony knowledge, especially regarding Cisco
networks.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard desktop application and operation systems, especially
regarding Microsoft office applications, adobe products and windows operating system.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Desk procedures, anti-virus and security systems and backup
systems
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL or similar service delivery systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to establish user trust and confidence
