Structural Engineer Infrastructure Roads Bridges Dubai UAE is responsible for overseeing structural works, ensuring adherence to contract specifications, coordinating with design and construction teams, and maintaining quality and safety standards throughout project execution.Key Responsibilities
- Review contract documents, structural drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance
- Monitor structural construction activities to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, RTA, and DEWA structural requirements
- Coordinate with designers and contractors to resolve structural discrepancies and site issues
- Supervise inspection teams and guide site engineers and inspectors
- Maintain daily and weekly progress reports, records, and documentation
- Conduct audits to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications
- Review contractor submissions, method statements, and material approvals
- Issue non-conformance reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Participate in project coordination and progress meetings
- Support project engineers in resolving technical challenges and maintaining schedules
- Monitor integration of structural works with roads, drainage, and infrastructure systems
- Assist in snagging, commissioning, and project handover activities
- Liaise with design teams for modifications and technical clarifications
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and intervene in unsafe practices
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE infrastructure and structural projects
- Strong experience in roads, bridges, and large infrastructure developments
- Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or similar tools
- Knowledge of UAE building codes and authority regulations
- Experience working on RTA projects preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Work on major infrastructure and transportation projects in Dubai
